Author Guidelines

Papers should be submitted in PDF via JEMS submission system: https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/sbrt2012.


Full papers should not exceed 5 pages, and undergraduate projects 2 pages.

JCIS Special Issue

The best papers of the 30th SBrT will be pre-selected for possible publication in the Special Issue of Journal of Communication and Information Systems (JCIS). Authors interested in publishing their work in the JCIS special issue should follow the steps below:

1. The paper should be written in English

2. In the submission process, select "JCIS + SBrT Full Paper (Artigo Completo SBrT + JCIS)" track in the JEMS System.

3. The notification of acceptance (pre-selection) will be sent via e-mail by June 15th.

4. Authors of pre-selected papers should write an extended version containing at least 30% of additional content. The extended version must be submitted via the JCIS submission system by September 13th.

5. Extended versions of pre-selected papers will follow the standard review process of JCIS, and the results will be sent to authors by the end of 2012.

6. Accepted papers will be published in the last issue of 2012.

 

Instructions about tutorials

Tutorial proposals should be submitted via JEMS system, until April 17, 2012, limited to 8 pages in pdf format, containing:

  • Title;
  • Authors' name, affiliation, e-mail, phone number, and short biography;
  • Summary of the proposal, with at least 2 pages, describing the contents;
  • Main references.

Notification of acceptance will be sent on April 23, 2012.

Final version should be sent in pdf format until July 16, 2012, containing at least one of the following requirements:

  • Slides of the presentation (2 slides per page);
  • Text with at least 20 pages.
