Student Financial Aid
There is a limited amount of funding available to support students attending SBrT 2023. The aid is intended for students who do not have sufficient funding to come to SBrT 2023.
Student Financial Aid
- Be a student regularly enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program;
- Author of a paper accepted for the symposium;
- Being the presenter of the paper at the symposium.
Documents needed to apply for aid
- Proof of registration;
- Proof of payment of the registration fee associated with the work in question;
- Statement from the student's advisor expressing agreement with the request.
The technical coordination of the event will classify the applications according to the analysis of the documentation submitted and the technical merit of the work (based on the EDAS revisions).
Applying for aid
Interested parties should send an e-mail with attached documents to mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org requesting the aid. The message must necessarily mention the work to be presented and be entitled "Application for SBrT 2023 Student Aid".
The request must be sent no later than 08/09/2023. The results will be announced on or before 18/09/2023.
The aid received cannot be transferred to another person. In the event of withdrawal, the aid will be passed on to the next applicant on the shortlist who was not awarded the grant in the previous call.
The aid will be given as partial reimbursement of registration and travel expenses. The amount of the grant has not yet been determined. However, we expect a similar amount to previous symposia.
