The Brazilian Telecommunications Symposium (SBrT) is widely recognised as the most important scientific, academic and technical forum for telecommunications in Brazil. This year's event will take place in the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center in the Brazilian capital, Brasília.


Authors are invited to submit unpublished papers in one or more of the following research areas:

Papers can be submitted in two categories: full papers or undergraduate project reports. The official language of the symposium is Portuguese, but articles may be submitted and presented in English as well.

Full papers must be submitted in PDF format and should not exceed 5 pages. Accepted papers shall be presented orally. The best symposium papers shall be pre-selected for a special issue of the Journal of Communications and Information Systems (JCIS). Undergraduate project reports should be submitted in pdf format and should not exceed 2 pages. If accepted, they shall be presented as posters.

We also welcome proposals that shall be held on the September 13, 2012. Authors of approved tutorials will have their registration fees covered by the organizing commitee (limited to one registration per tutorial).
